We are sorry to report that Stormy Blue, a yarn and pottery shop in Murrysville, Pa  announced this morning that it is going out of the yarn business. All yarn is being priced to sell.

This is what owner Kristine had to say on her Facebook page:

“Hey folks, it’s finally time for me to make a major announcement. I’d been avoiding it for a while because it’s kinda sad. But really, it’s good news and bad news. I’ll give you the bad news first. After much deliberation, hemming, and of course, the obligatory hawing, I have decided to go out of the yarn business. There are lots of reasons for this, and I’ll be happy to bore you with them if you come into the shop and ask, but I’ll spare you all the details for now. But ultimately, it is the right decision for me at this time. So, yeah. Bad news. Boooo.

But now, the good news! YAY! Effective immediately and continuing until we sell out of yarn, we are in permanent clearance mode. What this means for you is that (get ready) ALL yarns, needles, notions, books, and patterns are a whopping 40% off. And we’ll even take another 5% off if you pay with cash. And yes, this even applies to Addi Turbos. That NEVER happens. Like, ever.”

So if you live in the Pittsburgh area, you might want to stop by to buy some yarn from Kristine and check out her pottery business, which will continue on.
