Want to Try a New Fiber Art? Consider Attending Fiber U, July 13-14 in Lebanon, Missouri

Maybe you are a knitter who would like to try spinning or a spinner who’d like to learn dyeing? If so, you might want to consider Fiber “U”, a fiber arts event with a great selection of beginning to intermediate classes in Lebanon, Missouri this summer. The event is Printsponsored by MOPACA, a network of more than 100 alpaca farms in the Midwest, and includes fiber arts demonstrations and a marketplace of more than 30 fiber related vendors as well as the workshops.

Fiber U takes place July 13-14, 2013 at Cowan Civic Center at 500 E. Elm St., Lebanon, MO. Participants can take up to 6 classes for a registration fee of $35.00 ( 2 days), or $20.00 ( 1 day). For MOPACA members the 2 day fee is $25.00. Classes have additional materials fees ranging from $5 to $50. MOPACA has negotiated discounts at area hotels for Fiber U participants.
